Hampir semua industri, mulai dari food, automotive, mining, memanfaatkan ilmu-ilmu termal dan mekanika fluida secara parsial atau keseluruhan dalam proses industrinya. Persaingan industri yang semakin ketat mengakibatkan para engineer dan ilmuwan harus bekerja ekstra untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan gabungan termal dan fluida yang semakin komplek. Selanjutnya, Indonesia merupakan sebuah negara berkembang yang memiliki perkembangan industri yang cukup pesat, sehingga tidak lepas dari permasalahan termal dan fluida.

Seminar Nasional Thermofluid ini bertujuan sebagai wahana pertukaran informasi bagi para ilmuwan, akademisi, dan engineer tentang hasil-hasil penelitian terbaru, pengalaman operasional, metoda, solusi permasalahan dan tantangan praktis masa depan di bidang termal dan fluida.

Format Abstraksi:
Abstrak ditulis dalam Bahasa Indonesia atau Bahasa Inggris dengan menggunakan font Times New Roman, satu spasi, dan ukuran font 11 dalam kertas A4. Abstrak harus memuat topic (lihat di topik seminar), judul makalah (dalam Bahasa Indonesia dan Inggris), nama-nama penulis, ringkasan penelitian (latar belakang, tujuan, metode, dan kesimpulan hasil penelitian), alamat korespondensi, e-mail, dan keywords. Maksimum kata yang diijinkan adalah 300 kata. Template abstrak dapat di-download di website seminar ini.

Format Makalah:
Makalah harus memuat abstrak dan detail penelitian seperti latar belakang, tujuan, metode, hasil dan kesimpulan penelitian. Makalah dapat ditulis dalam Bahasa Indonesia atau Bahasa Inggris dengan menggunakan font Times New Roman, ukuran font 11 dan satu spasi. Jumlah halaman makalah harus genap, misal 4 halaman, 6 halaman, dengan maksimal jumlah halaman adalah 8 halaman. Detail format dan template makalah dapat dilihat dan di-download di website ini.
