The Asia Pacific Conference on Manufacturing System in conjunction with The Production System Conference is a biannual conference which aimed at providing a forum for presenting new ideas and practices on the current issues of manufacturing system among international and national researchers and the industry. The second Asia Pacific Conference on Manufacturing System and the ninth Production System Conference will be held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
Conference theme and topics:
The theme for this conference is Reconfigurable Manufacturing System for Facing Turbulent Manufacturing Environment. Recent economic situation caused a more turbulent environment for manufacturing which requires greater effort on realizing the concept of reconfigurable manufacturing system. It is widely accepted that current turbulent manufacturing environment forced manufacturing enterprises to build capability to reconfigure its system in line with the environment change. The manufacturing enterprises must be able to adapt to the environment changes and transforming its system effectively and efficiently for gaining competitiveness. All papers related to theoretical development and applications of reconfigurable manufacturing system are mostly wellcome. Relevant topics include, but not limited to:

Registration fee include a CD ROM proceedings, conference banquets, and meals. Early bird registration is US$ 150 and reguler registration is US$ 250 Special registration fee is applied for the student at US$ 75
